Seona Robertson
MD and Executive Producer
A
BAFTA and double Celtic Media Festival award
winning producer - made the first documentary series shown on
Channel 4 Pleasure Palaces through her first independent
company Reality Productions. A former mediaeval historian and
specialist in archive-based history programmes, she founded the
North West Film Archive in Manchester and went on to work for
Granada Television on Camera, a major international series
on the history of film and photography.
For Scottish Television, she produced various historical series - such as the 30 part Scotland's War - and Runrig, a multi film camera rock concert, which won three awards, including BAFTA Scotland Best Arts Film and the Celtic Media Festival "Spirit of the Festival" award. After founding Caledonia TV with Les Wilson, she produced much of the company's output and has been MD and Executive Producer since the company was restructured in 2000.
