Gàrradh Phàdruig (Peter's Garden)

Gàrradh Phàdruig, follows progress in the real home garden of keen newbie gardener Peter MacQueen, as he sets about transforming his back garden in the heart of Glasgow from a messy, neglected disaster zone to productive - and aesthetically pleasing - outdoor space.

In episode one we will see Peter clear the ground, removing old rotten decks and the garden shed that is falling to bits.  Tearlach Quinnell pops in to visit, and give advice on how best to plan a veg patch and work with the space that you have.  Peter heads out in the boat near Oban with his Dad and they collect seaweed to use as fertiliser.  The episode finishes with most of the ground work done, and the new sleepers in position to form raised beds

The series is filmed across a season, from January to October. Seòras the dog is with Peter all of the time - Westies love to get their paws dirty!
